We are seeing high numbers of people coming to the hospital and our Emergency Department is very busy.
We are still here for people who have life threatening injuries and illnesses, but there maybe long waits for other injuries and conditions. Anyone who attends the Emergency Department but doesn’t need to be treated there will be redirected to an alternative service.
We are asking the local community to help us make sure the ED is kept free for the people that need life-saving care.
Visit NHS 111 Online if you are unsure where is the best place for your symptoms.
